HEALING MODALITIES AND CERTIFICATIONS
As science evolves, new studies in physics are revealing that everything in our physical universe has energy, even inanimate objects, and further, that all energy has a vibration which holds matter in specific form. Even all of the complex systems in our bodies resonate vibrations at very specific frequencies which make up our human anatomy. When in good health, these energetic bodies operate in perfect harmony with one another, however due to stress, fatigue, and various kinds of illness, things become misaligned, creating disharmony and or disease (dis-ease).
The following energy therapies are offered by One In Love and Light:
REIKI HEALING
WHAT IS REIKI?
The art of the Reiki healing method was developed in Japan in the early 1900’s by Dr. Mikao Usui. His intention was to learn how to facilitate healing energy, as Jesus and the Buddha did.
In short, his studies, and also his dedication to connecting with a higher power through meditation led him to develop the Reiki healing modality. The word Reiki itself translates to Universal life force energy, which flows through all living things.
Reiki is holistic in nature, meaning it works on all body levels, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. When one receives a Reiki treatment from a certified practitioner, much like “the laying of hands” in the Christian tradition, this loving energy flows through practitioner to the client, flowing to wherever it is needed. This contributes to removing blockages in the energy field of the client, restoring areas that are depleted and bringing balance back into their body, mind and spirit.
NOTE: Through initiation and connection with the Reiki lineage a certified practitioner is not sharing their energy, but rather, acting as a conduit/facilitator for the Reiki energy to flow through to the client to serve their highest and best good.
POLARITY ENERGY BALANCING
WHAT IS POLARITY ENERGY BALANCING?
Polarity Energy Balancing Therapy is the art and science which focuses on stimulating the balance and flow of life energy within the human being. The term Polarity relates to one of the fundamental laws of nature, namely the attraction and union of opposites through a balanced middle point.
Think of the human body as an energy system like a battery or magnet. It has positive, negative, and neutral currents that flow through it. Polarity Therapy focuses on the flow of the very subtle high frequency energy which in the East is referred to as prana or chi, in the West as life force energy.
In order to maintain optimum health through the entire body, there should be an uninterrupted cyclical flow of energy throughout with no areas of excess, nor depletion.
During a Polarity session, the client typically lays on a massage table fully clothed, eyes closed and body relaxed. The practitioner will then place their hands on opposite sides of the body creating the polarity between the positive and negative points of connection. The client’s body is then gently rocked and moved as the energy flows between the two polarity points until balance is restored and flowing freely.
This healing modality can easily be incorporated into a massage, sound healing, or Reiki session.
THE “PROCESS” GUIDED SHAMANIC JOURNEY HEALING/COUNSELING
WHAT IS THE PROCESS?
The Process is a healing modality that blends Shamanic journeying, soul retrieval, and in a sense, psychotherapy, all into one. Through guided meditation, it accesses the deepest levels of our unconscious mind, uncovering hidden, or suppressed issues, which allows us to identify and begin healing the blocks in our lives and in our relationships at their root level.
Note: This sometimes will take a client back into other lifetimes, or even other spheres of consciousness.
One of the most powerful, important and sacred components of “The Process,” is that your journey into discovery, and healing, is all done with the guidance and accompaniment of God/The Divine Spirit of Love; the clients Higher Self, their angels and spiritual guides. This is essential because all true and lasting healing is accomplished by re-empowering the real you from within on a spiritual level in order to bring healing and awareness to the human mind and body.
Where did the process originate?
The Process was created by our dear friend, Alan Ginsberg. Alan has spent most of his life dedicated to a spiritual path, for the purpose of awakening and bringing that same God realization to others. Over the years, he came to personally know and be taught by many great gurus and masters such as Yogi Bhajan, and Swami Vishnu (Vishnudevananda Saraswati) In addition to holding a degree in psychotherapy, at one time he was one of Boston’s most sought after acupuncturist, treating thousands of clients. Several years ago he said a prayer to Spirit, asking that he be shown how to incorporate all that he had been taught and all the wisdom he had acquired into one healing modality. What Spirit shared with him he calls, “The Process”.

What is SOUND/VIBRATIONAL HEALING?
For centuries, sound, music and vibration was used by our ancient ancestors. This occurred on all continents for the purpose of spiritually connecting with the divine and creating healing on all levels. Like many Holistic modalities, vibration, sound and music therapy are now being recognized as valid therapies by our modern world.
Science is now finally validating what the ancient mystics knew long ago; that everything tangible and intangible is energy which vibrates at its own unique and measurable frequency! That includes every cell in our bodies!
What does this mean for us?
As vibratory beings, we each have our own unique and delicate frequency. These frequencies can easily get out of balance due to daily stress, illness, negativity, toxins (physical, mental, emotional) in our environment, even a lack of exposure to nature! Science now understands that being in nature is indeed restorative and healing to our mind/body/spirit. In a large part, that is due to the sounds we hear while being in nature! The sound of birds, the ocean, the wind, crickets, peepers… These are all healing sounds/frequencies that we need in order to maintain good health and balance. The vibrations one receives during a sound healing session is similar, offering frequencies we are missing in our everyday life. A session will help to restore balance and literally “tune up” the physical, mental and emotional bodies.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A SOUND HEALING SESSION
Sound travels in waves, through everything, even solid materials. It’s harmonizing frequencies help to activate the body’s natural healing ability on both a cellular and emotional level allowing for a deep restorative, rebalancing of the physical and energetic body.
As we resonate with sound vibrations, our brain waves shift, expanding our consciousness, allowing our mind to become more clear, and helping our nervous system come into a calm state of being.
A session begins with an evaluation of the client’s needs and goals regarding where they are out of balance, (physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual. Following the evaluation, the client is made comfortable on a massage table fully clothed. During the session various healing instruments (crystal bowls, chimes, Tibetan bowls, gongs, tuning forks. etc.) are used to create healing and meditative vibrations for the body and mind. The client’s job is to do nothing but relax, and simply allow the frequencies to flow through them, removing energy blocks and restoring the flow of energy throughout.
Following a session most clients report feeling a greater sense of clarity, peace and deep relaxation, while others feel more energized, with a more profound sense of connection with the natural world. Every session has a different effect, depending upon the clients state of being prior to the session.
